Varied and interesting business analysis role!
Working within the Operational Strategy & Planning Branch, the Business Analyst & Reporting works with internal and external stakeholders to support the Health & Safety Business Unit (HSBU) to deliver positive workplace health & safety outcomes.
The role undertakes analysis of injury, claims, operational performance and other data to produce high-quality, meaningful strategic and operational performance reports and information for the HSBU. The Business Analyst & Reporting provides these customised products by integrating internal and external data sources to enable our business partners to perform their roles more effectively.
The Business Analyst & Reporting will undertake investigation of data to identify opportunities for business improvement and will make suggestions on new areas of inquiry to management. The role will provide consultative support and analytical services to improve efficiency in program delivery and OHS outcomes across the business. Collaboration is a cornerstone to the role especially, with the members of the team in our support role to others within the division.
What to do if you are interested…
If you meet the following criteria:
BA experience – ideally not within IT – OH&S, marketing or insurance preferred
SAS experience, visual analytics, as well as advanced Excel to create reporting, creating qualitative and quantitative data
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
