Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Business Development Manager is responsible for influencing, coaching and training franchisees, and driving business profitability and compliance across a portfolio of Nando’s Franchised restaurants. With exceptional retail standards, continuously improved business performance and excellence in customer service, the Business Development Manager is the conduit between the Franchisee and the Nando’s Head office, developing and strengthening Franchisee relationships.
A key role in the VIC Operations team, this position will be influential in driving the performance of restaurants, through building solid relationships and understanding the franchisees challenges and opportunities across the business. This role requires someone who will be proactive in identifying and capitalising on opportunities to improve restaurant profitability, performance and engagement.
Skills & Experience
The BDM will be an operational leader who is commercially astute, with high capability of managing numerous tasks. Embracing the unique Nando’s restaurant model and culture within, the ideal candidate will have experience building strong relationships and be influential with long term strategic plans across the business portfolio. To be successful in this role, you will be commercially sound, autonomous, self-driven with exceptional organisational skills. High emotional intelligence and
strong understanding of P&L’s with high attention to detail across compliance will be vital to this role.
To be successful in this position, a background in Multisite Retail Operations or Franchisee Management is essential, with the ability to demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
