We are currently seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our business on a fixed-term 12 month maternity leave contract. Reporting to the HR Leader for the Central Region and National IR (comprising NSW, VIC, ACT, TAS and New Zealand), you will be responsible for providing operational HR support to employees and managers across the branch network within the New South Wales region.
Based at our flagship Wetherill Park facility and working as an integral part of the Central Region HR team, key aspects of this role will centre on the provision of HR advice on all matters pertaining to the employee lifecycle including Talent Management and Employee matters. Expertise in relation to award interpretation and supporting the day-to-day delivery of HR strategies, policies and procedures. Moreover, the ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders in the region as well as your colleagues in the broader South Pacific HR team will be pivotal to achieving operational objectives.
Ideally we are seeking applications from HR professionals who possess:
- A degree qualification in HR or other related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HR Business Partnering, Coaching or Consulting capacity
- A working knowledge and understanding of Australian employment law, particularly employee relations and industrial relations
- Strong stakeholder management skills in particular fostering collaborative working relationships at all levels
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, structured and self-sufficient approach
