A terrific opportunity has arisen for a motivated Desktop Support Engineer to join a leading organisation based in the Western suburbs.
Our client is part of a world leading company in providing conveyor solutions for the mining and industrial industry. Employing over 650 people they manufacture and supply conveyor systems and offer the latest technology in conveyor designs. Now they are seeking a motivated individual to join their IT Team and to provide excellent desktop support.
Reporting to the Network Services Manager you will be responsible for:
Providing excellent desktop support to end-users via email, over phone and face to face
Provide instruction and basic training to employees
Setting up and maintaining printers, faxes, scanners, smartphones, PC's and laptops
Software and hardware installations, troubleshooting, configuration and migration
Accurate and complete documentation of processes
Supporting the EHS department
As the successful applicant you will ideally possess:
Excellent organisation and communication skills
Strong experience in a similar role
An ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or similar is required
ITIL and Microsoft certification are preferred
