The position is responsible for assisting with the administration of online, social media and general marketing well as a variety of administrative tasks including: providing customer service and general office duties.

Redemptorist Media is the publishing apostolate of the Redemptorists in Australia and Asia, providing strength, inspiration and consolation to people on their Christian journey.

This varied role has two key areas of responsibility:

Assist with Marketing and Communications

Update content on various websites and social media platforms
Assist with the preparation and distribution of promotional material via post or email
Liaise with various IT and digital service providers
Work at external promotional events from time to time
Assist with internal communications for the Redemptorist Province

Office administration

Coordinate office activities and operations
Assist with bookkeeping
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Process banking
Ensure accuracy of all records and systems
Maintain office filing systems
Contribute to team as needed
Provide a high level of customer service by timely answering of the phone, and responding to email and online enquiries

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

A commitment to the Catholic faith
Ability and willingness to contribute to the Redemptorist mission
Proven experience as an effective office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
Experience in  Electronic Direct Marketing (EDM) activity
Experience in uploading content to websites and digital media platforms
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
Familiarity with office accounting procedures, particularly using Xero Accounting
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Proven success in customer relations and support
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
