For one of our key clients in State Government we are looking for a Technical Writer to provide specialist capability and write content for their CMS Project EOI and RFP that ensures consistency, within a Procurement setting.

As a Technical Writer you will:

Coordinate EOI and RFP requirements (including templates and responses)
Translate business requirements in to scope documentation incorporating technical needs, assessment and evaluation criteria
Develop standards for project technical documents in general
Manage the above with the objective of eliciting high quality vendor responses

To be considered for this 12 month contract opportunity you will be able to demonstrate:

Experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within an ICT Procurement government environment or similar
Comprehensive understanding of VGPB's development of EOI and RFP documents
Strong written skills, coupled with an excellent attention to detail, and the ability to develop and manage technical procurement documentation
Delivering value to the business under strict time pressures, prioritising your own workload, meeting deadlines, and the confidence to make the right decisions when under pressure
Track record of self-motivation and using your own initiative
