They are currently looking for a Vendor Assurance Manager to lead supplier excellence across their national network.

The Role

The Vendor Assurance Manager will be responsible for partnering with all suppliers in order to ensure materials, components and services delivered on time, to specification and fault free. Your major objectives will include achieving high levels of product quality and service from all suppliers as well as ensuring supplier delivery schedules are met. You will also be tasked with developing and championing a true Vendor Management System (or Supplier Excellence Program) that captures the entire supplier lifecycle, including Supplier Evaluation, Audit, Selection process, monitoring performance (Quality, delivery, service, etc.), Supplier Development, NCR Management and Supplier Reporting.
You will also be the first point of contact for supplier quality and delivery issues, playing a key role in root cause analysis investigations, assisting in implementation of interim solutions and drive ongoing preventative measures.

Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualified in Engineering (Preferable Mechanical) or Manufacturing
Minimum 3-years hands-on Quality Assurance or Vendor Leadership experience within the electrical, steel, automotive or general manufacturing industry.
Thorough understanding of Quality Systems (Preferably ISO), quality processes and documentation.
Keen eye for detail
Passionate, strong and confident in order to create and drive sustainable partnerships
Excellent change and stakeholder management skills
High-level communication and analytical skills.
